Myka

Myka has been an Assistant at NAC since 2012.  She is married to her best friend, John.  Their family includes 2 adorable daughters, dogs Axle, Ralph & Dottie, cats Taz and Able, as well as a whole farm of horses, chickens, cattle, pigs and more.  At the clinic she is an expert in holding those wriggly dogs and cats for us. 

Myka has a special talent for training dogs and horses, and all her pursuits keep her very busy. We are glad she has time to fit us in! We all enjoy her ever-present smile and hearing her infectious laugh around the clinic.

Kaylee

Kaylee started at Northern Animal Clinic as a Co-Op in 2023 and, after she returned from her Army basic training, returned to the clinic as an assistant. In all the chaos of working for and being a mechanic in the National Guard, Kaylee is still very dedicated to her NAC team and loves every bit of information and assistance everyone is willing to give. Kaylee loves every furry friend that comes in the door, especially the golden retrievers. As Kaylee does not yet have a dog of her own, she is hoping to have a golden in the future. 

Leslie

Leslie joined the NAC family in 2014 and has been with us ever since. Leslie likes to help take care of the family farm full of horses, chickens, ducks, cats, and dogs.

She likes to spend her free time playing fetch with her Labrador retrievers Faith and Faith's puppy Eden, riding her horses, and spending time with her family. She often travels around Michigan to go hiking with her sidekick Faith. 

Payten

Payten recently joined the NAC family in April of 2026. She is currently working on her undergraduate degree and plans to apply to vet school with the hopes of becoming a veterinarian in the future. She enjoys being a veterinary assistant because she learns so much every day that will help her as she moves along in her career. Outside of the clinic, Payten enjoys riding horses, working with her 4-H animals, playing softball and spending time with friends and family. 

Hailey

Hailey is the administrative assistant but she started as a client service specialist in 2021. In 2022 she switched to being a vet assistant but likes to help wherever she's needed. She is certified in Low Stress Handling and likes working with the more nervous dogs to try to do what she can to make them feel safer. Outside of work she spends her time hiking with her dogs, traveling, writing, and dog training. Hailey has two dogs, Skylla and Atlas, both pitbull mixes from the Midland Humane Society.
